WoWWiE!! What A Storm We Had!!!

Hey All!!!

I just had to post some pictures from the storm we had late last week. It forced us to be closed for a couple of days...but I truly enjoyed watching the world slow down a bit, even if it was for just a couple of days! They say we got between 12-16"...it's been 30 years since we've had a snow storm of this size!!


The picture on the upper left was Wednesday afternoon as it was snowing, look how beautiful it was! The other picture is after the storm was over...we got 16" at home, we know because we shoveled Wednesday night and we had 10" and then when we woke up we had another 6" on the driveway! Enjoy!!! New Store Hours

After careful consideration, I have decided to be closed on Sunday's. I started closing on Sundays in the Summer a few years ago, and I really LOVE having a day where the store is closed and I can spend some quality time with my family. Thanks for understanding!

What A Snowy Winter!!!

We're closed today due to the weather. I went in to open the store this morning and decided it was just too nasty out. All the schools are closed and they were predicting it was going to snow all day. I hope we didn't inconvenience any one...but I am home working on the e-newsletter so I can get it out today. If you're having a snow day too...hope you're enjoying yourself!!

What a cornucopia of weather we have had in the last week...upper 40's, 22 below zero, rain, sun and now measureable amounts of snow!!! Only in Michigan!!

Hey There!!

I wanted to give you a heads up on something that's coming in any day now.

These great frames...I hate to call them frames because that doesn't do them justice! They are really wonderful pieces of art...at a very reasonable price. I don't have the exact dimensions, but if my memory serves me -- they are in the 24" range.

They will make wonderful Mother's Day & wedding gifts!! The toughest part is deciding which one to choose!! You're going to LOVE these!!

Let us know if you want to be called when they arrive. I have a funny feeling this first order is not going to last very long with Mother's Day approaching. Put a great family picture in the middle and they'll make a wonderfully sentimental gift that mom will treasure forever!

Hey All!!

I'm back from Market!! What a trip...I found so many great things! I am listening to you...and so many of you LOVE the unique gift items we are starting to carry. So I was on the search for some great new things...and did I find them!

One in particular I am excited about is a line of colorful leather purses and accessories (see picture to the right) from Baekgaard Ltd.. Yes...some of their products have landed themselves on the 'O' List, and of course we'll have those also!! This line is so bright and fun...anyone who loves to flaunt their color will not be able to resist it! It should be here soon!

I also found a wonderful line of games that will get the conversation rolling with family and friends...they even have some fun games for the younger girls. There are titles like 'Girls Night Out', 'Family Dinner' & 'Slumber Party' to name just a few. There is something for everyone!! They are a great gift for that hard to buy for person on your list...and you'll want some for your next family get together too!

I'm Off To Market!!!

Wish me luck...I'm sure I'll find lots of goodies!!! I can't wait to see what's out there for the new year!! I'll be gone for a week...returning next Monday the 14th!

By the way, our new furniture line arrived last week!! We have been busy little bee's rearranging the store to fit them in...and we've gotten some rave reviews on the new them already...I posted a picture to wet your appetites...stop in soon and check them out for yourself!
